Valium is comprised of a group of drugs called  benzodiazepines and their role is to affect the chemicals in the brain which may become unbalanced and cause anxiety.

Valium is used to treat anxiety disorders as well as it might also be useful for agitation,hallucinations,shakiness happened during alcohol withdrawl and to relieve different types of muscle pain.

Valium is used to treat anxiety disorders,agitation and muscle relief etc but like any other medicine it has some side effects too.Not use valium if you are allergic to diazepam,severe liver disease etc and if you have any one of these diseases please always contact the doctor before using it.

Never use this medicine if you are pregnant as it cause birth defects  to unborn baby.Also dont drink alcohol before or after taking  it because it will increase the effects of alcohol.

Like many medicines valium is habit forming too.

Its side effects include confusion,unusual thoughts,double vision etc and its little side effects may include head ache,memory problems,skin rash etc
